Our Collar is great for pups of all ages and sizes. We do recommend sizing up as puppies can outgrow their walk gear as they get older and grow into their adult body.
Our Collar is finished with a PVC coating making it water resistant and safe from the elements. The hardware and buckle is made from a rust-resistant Zinc Alloy, which is more rust-resistant that your average stainless steel, so you can use it for a long long time. That said, like many metals, it may rust eventually after prolonged exposure to the elements.
The Collar should be snug against your dogs neck, but with enough room to place two fingers between their neck and the Collar. This ensures they're safely inside, while giving them room for movement and comfort.
Experts recommend Collars for everyday wear, however, a Harness is the safest option for going on walks and engaging in outdoor activities.
